Tourist Information Centres
As you travel throughout Ireland, avail of the services provided by Tourist Offices. Watch out for the green ‘I’ symbol. Shannon Development, the regional tourism organisation for the Shannon Region and Failte Ireland West operate a network of Tourist Offices near Lough Derg. These offices are all staffed by trained advisors who are there to ensure that visitors are provided with advice and a range of services that will enable you to enjoy the Shannon Region and Lough Derg to its fullest.
General Services provided include: Local and National Information, Booking Accommodation, Touring Routes and Itinerary Planning, Events, Fesival Information, Dining & Entertainment Information and Bureau de Change.
