Williamstown, Co Clare
The town of Williamstown in Co Clare located just over the border from Co Galway is located on the shores of Lough Derg.
Its location on the western shore commands excellent views of the lake, Dromineer Bay and Youghal Bay in Co Tipperary and the Corrikeen Islands on Lough Derg. Shannon Castle Line a hire cruise operation have their base at Williasmtown harbour. Nearby is the public harbour operated by Waterways Ireland at Dromann.
