Limerick County Golf & Country Club
This golf club is situated in the village of Ballyneety, just 8km (5ml) from Limerick City. It features an 18-hole championship standard golf course (6,427 yards off the back tees) with 18 sand-based greens and tees all built to US PGA standards.
Co-designed by Irish Ryder Cup player Des Smyth and Irish Amateur international, Declan Brannigan, the course opened in 1994. A number of holes were redesigned in 2005 and enhanced the course's reputation as one of the best in the South West Region.
The greens are rated as among the best in the country all year-round. And the range of tee choices makes playing the course a most enjoyable experience for all levels of skill.
