Ogonnelloe offers an ideal base for exploring the nearby Lough Derg and engaging in wide-ranging pursuits on water or on land. The area is centrally situated between Killlaloe and Scarriff.
The UL Activity Centre, located nearby, offers a range of adventure pursuits, from sailing, powerboating, windsurfing, kayaking, canoeing and dragon boating to high ropes courses, team challenges, orienteering and archery.
Other holiday pursuits readily available in the area include golf, hill-walking and equestrian sports.
