On the outskirts of Limerick City and close to the University and National Technology Park at Plassey, Castletroy, Co. Limerick is an attractive base for exploring the area’s many tourist attractions.
The Shannon River is close by and one of the most popular fishing stretches on the river is at Plassey beside Castletroy where superb pike and coarse angling is possible from easily accessible banks.
You have excellent golf and other activity options as well as leisure/entertainment possibilities in the city, surrounding area and on the nearby River Shannon.
