Georgian House and Garden, Limerick City

The faithfully restored Georgian House and Garden at Pery Square in Limerick’s City Centre offer a unique visitor experience for people of all ages.

You can enjoy the stunning grandeur of the marbled walls, ornate plaster and amazing rooms. These contrast greatly with the unique servants’ quarters on the mezzanine over the kitchen.

The Georgian townhouse garden has been reinstated to the original design and layout as per the 1840 O.S. map, using plants in keeping with the period. Very few of these gardens are still in existence and none in Ireland are open to the public.

Another attraction is the Carrol Collection, a collection of family heirlooms over five generations dating from the 1700s to the 1920s, including items from the Boer War, the two World Wars and a frock coat once worn by Napoleon 111 of Spain.
